Love for our cows is at the center of everything we do.

Our Guernsey cows are the heart of our farm and creamery. We believe that each cow whose milk goes into our bottles is an integral part of our business, and our bovine business partners are the focus of our farm every day.

We milk our herd of eight to twelve Guernsey cows on our farm in Freedom, Wisconsin. Twice a day, each of our milking cows walk through our custom-built parlor, which was remodeled from a horse barn to suit the needs of our dairy operation.

Our story started in 2010 with the purchase of a single Guernsey for Breanna, who wanted to show the breed at her local fair. That one heifer began a dream that grew into Two Guernsey Girls, where the mother-daughter duo Tammy and Breanna Fritsch work together to create delicious dairy products fresh on the farm for everyone to enjoy.

Tammy works daily with the cows as well as bottling milk in the creamery, while Breanna attends school at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Master cheesemaker Duane Peterson, Tammy’s brother-in-law, creates delicious flavored cheese curds from our A2A2 milk.

The farm store officially opened in 2021, after over two years of planning, building and hard work from the Fritsch family and friends. We carry our A2A2 milk and cheese curds in our farm store, as well as a variety of other locally-grown and produced foods from Wisconsin farmers.

Our Guernsey herd, registered under the prefix Muy Bonita Guernseys with the American Guernsey Association, are bred to ensure they carry the A2A2 milk protein gene. This means they produce milk with A2A2 protein, which has a number of potential health benefits for those who eat our Two Guernsey Girls products. Producing high-quality, nutritious, and tasty dairy products for your family to enjoy is what gets us out of bed at the crack of dawn every morning. We’re so glad you chose Two Guernsey Girls and we hope to see you at our farm store soon!
